📢 California, Our Voices Matter!

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Californians will head to the polls for a statewide special election that could reshape our future in Washington. A new congressional redistricting plan is on the ballot—one that would expand our representation and ensure our communities are heard loud and clear.

Your vote is your power. Let’s use it!

Fighting for Fair Representation:Across the nation, the National Urban League has stood strong against unfair practices—like weaponized redistricting in Texas—and continues to fight for equity at the state level. Now, it’s our turn in California to step up and show the strength of our collective voice.

For a general election in California, the standard voter registration deadline is 15 days before Election Day. For the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election, the last day to register online at  registertovote.ca.govor by mail is October 20, 2025.

California also offers Conditional Voter Registration (CVR), also known as same-day registration, for those who miss the standard deadline. If you miss the standard deadline, you can still register and vote in person during the 14-day period leading up to and including Election Day.

You only need to register once unless you: Move to a new address. Change your name. Change your political party preference.
