From Nashville to Los Angeles: The Journey Continues
As the 2026 National Urban League Conference came to a close in Nashville, the baton was officially passed west—to Los Angeles, host city of the 2027 National Urban League Conference.
Los Angeles Urban League President & CEO Cynthia Mitchell-Heard took the stage to share our excitement and gratitude as we prepare to welcome the Urban League movement to our city. It is an incredible honor and a unique opportunity to showcase the people, communities, culture, innovation, and spirit that make Los Angeles truly one of a kind.
In July 2027, Urban League leaders, advocates, partners, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and changemakers from across the country will come together in Los Angeles for four powerful days of connection, conversation, opportunity, and action.
Nashville passed the baton. The journey continues—and Los Angeles is ready to welcome the nation.

The Los Angeles Urban League Guild Welcomes NULCONF27
July 21–24, 2027
A City of Dreams. A Legacy of Leadership. A Movement for Change.
The Los Angeles Urban League Guild is proud to welcome the National Urban League Conference to Los Angeles, July 21–24, 2027, for four days of connection, collaboration, learning, and action focused on advancing economic opportunity, civil rights, workforce development, and equity.
This will be a historic return. Los Angeles has not hosted the National Urban League Conference since 2002. More than two decades later, thousands of leaders and advocates from business, government, education, philanthropy, media, and communities nationwide will come together in the City of Angels to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and inspire meaningful change.
For the Los Angeles Urban League Guild, #NULCONF27 is an opportunity to celebrate our city while contributing to the continued growth and impact of the Urban League movement. With 93 affiliates working across the country, the movement continues to create pathways to opportunity and strengthen communities.
The Guild is proud to be part of this historic moment. We invite you to join us in Los Angeles as we connect, engage, and help shape the future together.
